Plugins Are Back

After an update to SearXNG changed the way built-in plugins work, plugins were disabled for a while due to me not re-configuring them. I finally got around to it, and now built-in plugins work again.

In case you didn't know, SearXNG has a number of built-in plugins:

Calculator

The Calculator plugin can perform simple arithemetic functions: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and exponentiation.

Hash Values

The Hash Values plugin provides a hash digest for any string. Simply type the hash algorithm (e.g. md5, sha256) followed by the string you want to hash.

Hostnames

The Hostnames plugin replaces certain hostnames with an alternative frontend. This plugin is not currently in use on this instance.

Self-Info

The Self-Info plugin can return information about you, specifically your IP address and your user agent. Use "ip" or "user-agent" as your search query to use this plugin.

Tor Check

The Tor Check plugin checks if your IP address belongs to a Tor exit node.

Unit Converter

The Unit Converter plugin can convert between certain units. For example, querying "1 mi to km" will return the length of one mile in kilometers.

Classic kits help fans connect modern football with older moments in the game when the difference between player and fan versions becomes part of the discussion. Shirt collecting habits often influence how fans compare one season with another. Anyone comparing player and fan versions may find, retro club shirts remains a natural topic when the focus is on design, fit, and supporter meaning. In conversations about club identity, the link between design and identity remains clear.
